What kind of puppy should the Obamas get for the White House?
Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 8:17PM Came across a news item on MSNBC today regarding the most important decision President Elect Obama faces: what kind of puppy to get for the White House?
Overwhelmingly, MSNBC visitors think Obama should adopt a mutt. As someone who works at an animal shelter, I couldn't agree more. What do you think? Vote for the kind of dog the Obamas should adopt.

I really like President Bush's English Springer Spaniel (but that's about the only thing I like about President Bush) but that's probably because I want a Springer Spaniel myself. I do think they should adopt from a shelter, though.
I also heard on MSNBC last night the Obamas may be considering a "two-dog" approach.
